F-Zero Pocket News!


Hello everyone, and welcome on board!

Just a quick update on F-Zero Pocket: first of all thank you for the warm welcome and the overall great reception of the game! Getting over 200 downloads of the game in less than a week is great for me.

With the first feedbacks, I had several small glitches to fix, which were taken care of since the release. I will probably upload a 1.1 version with these bug fixes (being able to go back to a previous menu while transitionning to a new screen, pausing during the results screens, etc.) in a couple of weeks. At this stage, I am still unsure whether I'll add more content to the game or not (a Time Attack mode was scrapped, an in-game Track Editor was also scrapped due to a lack of time, and Port Town was never considered as an environment because I already had 10 of them; more drivers could also become a reality, we'll see)


I will probably add small stuff like this in the coming month. I'll also do a proper post-mortem of the game once the v1.1 will be released.

In the meantime, huge thanks to everyone who followed me and played the game. I loved reading your reactions and hope you'll enjoy the future of F-Zero Pocket and my future projects as a whole! F-Zero Pocket was actually my side project this year, I'll gradually move on to another side project and I plan on opening an itch.io page for my main project as well.
